Pune Biennale

Urban contemporary art festival engaging with Pune's historical and social contexts

The Pune Biennale represents India's rising influence in the global contemporary art scene. Initiated by Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Architecture in partnership with the Pune Municipal Corporation, it democratizes art in the public sphere by reclaiming public spaces — from ancient temple caves to busy traffic islands — as sites for creative intervention.
